Main responsibilities:
- Identify the most suitable locations for the development of wind farms, considering environmental and technical constraints
- Undertake energy production assessments and uncertainty analysis of wind farms
- Design of wind farms (wind turbine selection, siting, layouts) for development purposes
- Undertake on-site assessments
- Assess the integration of wind farms with different generation technologies and energy users, in existing and new projects
- Research, assess and define engineering solutions to optimize the projects
- Research and test new added value software tools
- Liaise and cooperate with the development, investment and construction teams (across Europe)
Essential Skills:
- Experience in the wind sector, performing similar tasks for a minimum of 3 years
- Experience in statistical data analysis
- Proficient user of CAD software
- Proficient user of GIS software
- Proficient user of WAsP software
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software tools
- Proficiency in English is essential. German and Spanish are considered a plus
- Experience in construction is a plus
- Experience in offshore projects is a plus
