TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Originate, develop and monitor projects with the aim to produce Hydrogen and its derivatives
- Identify and secure/acquire areas suitable for the construction of H2 projects
- Develop and responsibly grow and own a project pipeline through proactive and independent direct approach
- Coordination and implementation of project development in an international and interdisciplinary team.
- Support the management in negotiations by preparing decision templates and reports
- As a representative of Smartenergy, represent and negotiate the projects before authorities and other public bodies
- Development and control of supporting local marketing strategies.
- Support the management team in negotiations, preparing investment memos & reports and conducting due diligence by ensuring projects meet financing and technical requirements
- Select and manage local businesses to partner and consultants in order to deliver projects to Ready to Build (RTB) stage
YOUR PROFILE / REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent in German (ideally mother tongue)
- Fluent in English (Company language)
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the Hydrogen Business or Project Development in utility scale renewables
- Experience with German Hydrogen framework/legislation, permitting process
