The Energyear Europe 2022 Tour arrives in Italy celebrating its second edition with unprecedented expectation after the success of Spain and Portugal and consolidating its position as one of the networking congresses of reference for national and international decision-makers involved in the energy transition in the country.
Italy is the third largest producer of renewable energies in Europe, and a third of its electricity generation mix already comes from renewable sources. However, the current goals are ambitious. The REPowerEU target assigned to Italy involves the development of 80GW of installed capacity, which means that the country will have to move from 41% renewable generation in 2021 to 84% by 2030.
